This is one of just 21 right hand drive examples of the 365 GTC out of a total production of approximately 150 cars. This was one of the last examples to leave the factory, not being registered until January 1971.

The car passed through the hands of a number of noted Ferrari enthusiasts before becoming part of a small Hampshire-based collection of exceptionally nice Ferraris during the nineties. During this time the car was kept in a heated environment and was regularly serviced by Westover Sports Cars in Blandford Forum, a Ferrari dealer.

In June 2000 the car was purchased by an established Ferrari enthusiast who immediately embarked on a renovation programme. A full inspection found the car to be in very good and largely original order entirely commensurate with the recorded mileage of 53,700 miles. Bodywork was entrusted to specialists Moto Marque - they stripped the body back to bare metal and carried out all necessary repairs before refinishing the car in the original blue metallic shade. A full set of photographs in the history file show this work at various stages of completion. Respected Ferrari specialist Vincent Mezzullo carried out a full mechanical overhaul replacing or restoring where necessary. Work included new clutch, new stainless steel exhaust system, new valve stem seals and numerous other works. In addition, air conditioning was installed to replicate, however the original venting has been used and so there is no evidence of this other than a small rotary knob mounted on the centre console. Available as an option when new, air conditioning is most welcome in the GTC model, the large glass area contributes to a greenhouse effect on hot sunny days.

Following completion of this work in 2002, the car was sold to a friend who has continued to use and enjoy the Ferrari to this day. It has covered an additional 7,500 miles in dry summer conditions and has continued to be very well maintained with a service being completed at least once every year either by Vince Mezzullo or Maranello Concessionaires.

The car had a complete engine rebuild recently and it performs exceptionally well and has clearly been very well set up.
